Here is another Idea for Fall/Winter Ombre Nails: Red and Black Gradient Manicure.
I am obsessed with these nails! Obsessed.
I don’t know why, but I never used to wear red nails. Not that I didn’t like red color. I just always gravitated towards other colors. My clients know that very well. 🙂
But lately I am drawn to reds, especially classic red. I guess just like our taste buds, our color tastes change also.
I had these fiery nails on for almost a week now, and the compliments just keep coming. I get at least one almost everywhere I go.
These nails sure do make a fashion statement. But at the same time they go perfectly with any accessory or outfit.
After all Black and Red colors are such classics that they almost never clash with anything you would wear.
This color combination is so perfect as:
- Valentine’s Day Nails
My clients usually wear their no chip nails anywhere between 2 and 6 weeks. So the closer to Valentine’s Day, I try to offer manicures that still have a Valentine’s Day “theme”, but can be worn after. No matter how much we love hearts, most people don’t prefer not to be stuck with heart nails after the holiday is over.
So if you happened to be due for your no chip (or manicure) right around Valentine’s Day and don’t want to be stuck with Valentine’s Day Manicure for a while, this nail design is perfect.
And it’s also great for those people who are just not into pinks and hearts, but love red nails. This design brings those red nails to a whole new level.
- Halloween Nails
This design goes especially well with a Vampire, Dracula or a Witch Halloween Costume.
AND these Nails look so amazing with that Little Black Dress for any
- Special Occasion
- Party
- Date
- Birthday
- Bachelorette Party
- Girls Night Out
- Clubbing
- Engagement
To create these Red and Black Ombre Nails I used:
- Classic Bright Red Gel Nail Polish
- Black Gel Nail Polish
- Makeup Sponge to create the gradient
Gradient nails are one of my absolute favorites. I love my sparkles, but ombre nails are one of the few exceptions, when I can do without. Don’t take me wrong. I almost always incorporate glitter into ombre gradient nails. But for this one, I felt like leaving it as is.
I can’t get enough if these nails and I hope you love it too!
Have a safe, healthy and happy winter!
