Lime Green and Yellow Neon Ombre Nails
Need I say more? 🙂 YES! Most of Summer 2021 Nail Polish Color Trends and Nail Art Trends are super retro 80’s! AND we have been seeing a bit of the 80’s come back in this Summer Fashion Trends as well. How about Tie Dye everywhere? So fun! Tie Dye Nails coming soon!
Lime, Green, Yellow. Orange, Hot Pink, Bright Blue, Coral and Purple Colors took the center stage in both neon and plain form in top Brand’s Summer 2021 Collections.
And of course Gradient Nails or Ombre Nails have been a huge Nail Design Trend and it is here to stay for Summer 2021 and beyond. It is one of the very few designs that I can wear and not have Sparkly Nails. But of course I LOVE doing Glitter Ombre Nails and Ombre Nails with Sparkles as well. But in gradient designs, sometimes I prefer to leave them plain like in this design, my all time favorite: Red and Black Ombre Nails – Beauty Art by Olga>
To create these Lime Green and Yellow Neon Ombre Nails I used:
- Neon Lime Gel Nail Polish
- Neon Yellow Nail Polish
- Makeup Sponge to create Ombre Effect
This look can be created and worn as both regular manicure as well as gel manicure. It could be a bit messy to create, but so worth it!
I used Gel Polish colors that I already had and have unfortunately been discontinued. But you can use your favorite neon nail polish shades to create these Ombre Nails. Or checkout my favorite Summer 2021 Nail Polish Collections:

Of course they say you are not supposed to – but I love mixing brands in a lot of my No Chip Manicures. I’ve been doing it for years and I don’t think I will ever stop! As long as you use a good quality base and top coat, you should be fine. If you’ve never done it before, – Practice! Practice on friends and family, on yourself first to make sure there are no issues before you do it on your clients.
