Get pretty for Valentine’s Day with fresh Blonde Balayage and Beach Waves. Or just Beach Waves. Or just Balayage 🙂 .
This year all the holidays are unlike any other. But I have always believed that when you look better, you feel better. Even though a lot of restaurants are open, many people are simply not ready. Things are still unknown and scary. Though they are getting better. Looking back there has been so much progress made.
No mater what the case may be, whether going out or staying in, it’s nice to have a special day. Though getting your hair done feels amazing, simply curling it always feels special. Especially for those of us who don’t do it often. I am one! But when I do, it always feels good. Even if your color has been soooo grown out. We’ve all been there, especially the last few long months.
That’s where Balayage came to rescue for so many of my clients.
If done right, balayge has such a soft transition blend from base to blonde. No matter how grown out it is, it still looks great.
And when curled, it looks even better! Curls really show off the beauty of it.

For this Blonde Balayage and Beach Waves I used:
- Clay Balayage Lightener. It works great on clients with virgin hair.
- Cool Blonde Toner
- Styling Products.
- 1/4-inch wand (you can also use 1/2-inch wand or curling iron).
Please always remember that it is so important to use good quality shampoo, conditioner and styling products. Especially on color-treated hair. So if you are curling your hair at home ALWAYS use the best HEAT PROTECTANT you can find.
Last year really showed us that love is to be celebrated. Maybe Valentine’s Day is originally a holiday for couples. But over the years, it has shown to be a day we really celebrate love in general. It’s the people we love and that love us back that gives our lives meaning. Family, friends, coworkers, pets. Some of us (ME!) also LOVE our jobs! Anything that fills your heart with joy to me is love.
I love my clients, I love my job. My clients and I have been celebrating since the middle of January with fun Valentine’s Day nails and fun hair.
It is also so important to love yourself. So many of us get caught up in life and often neglect to do that. Treat yourself to whatever make your day special. Hey, most of us love to get beautiful, getting our hair, nails and makeup done, buying an outfit we love – that’s love too and it deserves to be celebrated!
So for the actual Valentine’s Day my plan this year is to do my nails (ahead of time), curl my hair, do my makeup, put on a cute new outfit and make a special dinner for the people I love. I love to cook so I plan to cook today with lots of love and among other things celebrate my love of cooking!
