Chunky glitter line design across the nail has been a nail art trend for quite a while now.
It has been circulating all over social media.
But mostly on nude base colors.
They are beautiful! And they make such modern take on Bridal Nails.
But I thought why not try it with a brighter base?
I absolutely love the elegance and versatility of this nail design.
It is so different and so fashionable.
And not super sparkly or flashy, but adds some fun to any nail polish color.

Winter to Spring Nails
By the time winter ends most of us are usually already in the mood for more fresh and bright nails. For me and my clients this coral shade is one of the shades that fits the bill. Add a line of chucky glitter and you got yourself a cute nail design!
Spring to Summer Nails
Once the weather warms up a bit and the sun is shining, we all tend to want brighter colors on our nails and toes. But before we jump into neons and super bright shades, I usually prefer medium bright at first. With sparkles of course!
Summer to Fall Nails
When those beautiful fall days start, lots of people start transitioning to warmer orange, copper, green, grey, purple tones. And this nail design would look amazing with this one or any of those transitional nail polish shades that have a bit of an Autumn feel.
Spring Nails
With those Spring Pastels and any color glitter, it would be one of the cutest Spring Manicures ever! And Easter Nails to impress.
Fall Nails
If you are not into dark Autumn Nails, this look always work. Or try it on one of those darker fall nail polish shades for a trendy, modern and chick Fall Manicure. It could even work for your Halloween Nails.
To create this nail design I used:
- Coral Gel Nail Polish
- Chunky gold glitter
- Rhinestone Tool to pick up and arrange sparkles
If doing this design on a gel manicure, be sure to flash cure each nail once you arrange the glitter so it doesn’t move around. It does take a little extra time and effort to create this design. Especially for a regular manicure.
But me and my clients love this look so for us it is totally worth the effort!

Nails with Glitter:
Coral Nails with Gold Glitter Line
HOW-TO INSTRUCTIONS:
After completing your nail prep, apply Gel Base Coat. Then cure for the required time.
Apply 2 coats of Coral Gel Polish. Then cure for the required time (cure each coat separately).
Heere is a link to the Gel Polish Shade I used:
To arrange chunky glitter in the middle of the nail:
First apply 1 coat of your favorite Gel Top Coat. Do not sure. Then place sparkles in a vertical line starting at the cuticle area and moving down towards the tip. I used a rhinestone tool to pick up and arrange the glitter.
Flash cure each nail for few seconds once you have arranged the glitter. It will make sure that it doesn’t move around.
Then cure all 10 nails for the required time.
Finally apply your favorite Gel Top Coat. Be sure to cap free edges. Then cure for the required time.
Check each nail for bumps to make sure the glitter is not sticking up anywhere. If you find bumps, lightly buff the nail and repeat Step 4.
Enjoy the finished look!
