Christmas is fast approaching and the closer it, is, the more festive we usually get and feel. Red Christmas Nails with Santa Hat Design usually put people into holiday spirit.
Christmas Nail Art is in full effect every year. And these Santa Hat Christmas Accent Nails are no exception.
After Thanksgiving we get into Holiday mood with all things Holidays, and even those, who normally do not prefer to wear nail art or nail designs, usually let me do something fun on at least 1 nail.
Let’s face it: this holiday season is not the same in so many ways. This pandemic threw us to this completely different life. And it is not easy for so many people struggling to get and feel festive.
But I am a true believer that we have to try and make the best of it until we get through it. So whatever puts a smile on our faces is worth the effort. For so many of my family, friends and clients, believe it or not, one of those things it’s glitter! So whether you can do it for yourself, or treat someone you love to make their day just a little brighter, a little sparkle will usually do the job. It is still a season of giving and if we give each other love and attention, we can get though anything.
One of my clients requested this cute sparkly Christmas-ey Santa Hat Manicure a few years ago. And it was such a big hit among my clients who absolutely love Christmas nails art that it is now requested every year.
This holiday design can be worn as both regular and a no chip manicure.
I used my favorite sparkly red gel polish as a base color. And to create accent Santa Hat nail:
- 1. I applied 2 coats of translucent pink polish,
- 2. Used the same sparkly red polish for the hat,
- 3. Applied shimmery off-white polish to create the trim
- 4. Placed a large piece of silver glitter for the pom (you can also use the same off white polish instead.
- 5. Dabbed a little loose silver sparkle for festive effect and toped with a top coat.
These Santa Hat nails are festive, but simple at the same time, I hope you try this look and have a great, healthy and happy Holiday Season!
