St. Patrick’s Day Green Nails with Shamrocks

I love green nails. Love! So every year I get so happy when the very first Spring Nails that my clients request are green. Their St. Patrick’s Day Manicures of course!

After lots of dark winter manicures, green is like a ray of refreshing sunshine. And it means beautiful weather will be here soon. And after St. Patrick’s Day, it is Spring Pastels all the way. Starting with Easter Nails.

And Shamrock Nail Design is of course always a number one request.

I love to come up with some sort of a new St. Patrick’s Day nail design every year and this is another version.

I usually tend to prefer greens with more of a cooler undertone, less yellow. Mint greens are my absolute favorite. But any green color would work for this look. It is just a matter of preference.

The links to the colors I used are listed in the How-To Instructions below.

This look can be easily created and worn as both regular and a no chip gel manicure. I have included products and instructions for both.

When trying to choose a St. Patrick’s Day manicure, many people feel like they have to get a shamrock. But with this nail design, you really don’t have to.

With or without shamrocks this French Manicure is so cute.

And still festive for any St. Patrick’s Day event or celebration. Without a shamrock it can be worn any season or occasion, whenever green mood strikes. And it strikes me often.

These Mint Green Nails with Silver Metallic Glitter Tips would be perfect

  • Spring Nails
  • Easter Nails
  • Summer Nails

  • Nails for Confirmation
  • Nails for Baptism or Christening
  • Romantic Dinner Nails and Nails for a Date

Glitter Tips always look so trendy and fun.

To create these St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Nails with French Glitter Tips you will need:

  • Mint Green Polish
  • Metallic Silver Polish to create glitter tips and shamrocks
  • Sheer Metallic Silver Glitter Gel Polish to add a bit extra sparkle to the tips (optional)
  • Silver Rhinestones (optional)*
  • Dotting Tool to draw Shamrocks

*I often use a piece of chunky glitter instead of rhinestones for clients that are hard on their hands or do not prefer rhinestones. Or using a dotting tool, just place a dot of your metallic Silver Glitter Polish instead.
