Today is a Christmas tree decorating day. I was unpacking my ornaments and couldn’t help to use them as an inspiration. So I decided on these Christmas Ornament Holiday Accent Nails.
Sparkly Red Nails are an absolute must every Christmas. And these Christmas Ornament Holiday Nails are a perfect Christmas manicure.
I first did these Christmas nails on myself last year and so many of my clients loved them. First, all were shocked that I had red. I don’t mind red on other people, but was never a big fan for some reason. Especially on my nails. Though lately it has been growing on me. I even wanted it again this year!
I have to admit I love having my nails freshly done when I am decorating for the holidays. There is nothing like staring at sparkly nails while sparkling up everything else.
So first things first on my to do list today before I start decorating was my Holiday No Chip Manicure. But you don’t necessarily have to use gel polish for this or any or my nail art. It can be easily be re-created with a regular nail polish.
As simplistic as I am when it comes to my own nails, – couple of holiday accent nails is just enough for me personally. But all nails or just a few – it will still be a perfect Christmas manicure. You can even wear this manicure as New Year’s Day nails or even Valentine’s Day nails. Maybe I will recreate it again in other colors (stay tuned 🙂 ).
To create this Christmas nail art design:
I chose my favorite sparkly red gel polish. And as and for the accent nails, I applied 2 coats of sheer pink Gel Polish and chunky loose glitter.
