These Grey Nails with Gold Sparkles are a great winter manicure. They can be your holiday nails or winter nails.
For those of us who wear no chip manicures we are often due in the odd time. Either too early or right before the closest holiday where we end up wearing a certain look too long. This manicure is a good solution. It will be festive enough as a holiday manicure and if you end up wearing it after the holidays it is elegant even for every day. For my clients who love glitter they ask for this look all year round in different color combinations.
I first created this look for a client who wanted a fun, but elegant Vegas manicure during the holiday season. And once my other clients saw it they loved it. Especially those who do not prefer red.
Light or medium grey nail polish is a great base. It has enough color to where it doesn’t feel dull. But the outgrowth is virtually unnoticeable. So it can go a long way. Especially for my clients who wear their no chip manicures for up to 6 weeks.
To create these Grey Nails with Gold Sparkles I used:
- Light Grey gel nail polish
- Chunky and Fine Gold Glitter gel nail polish and a small striper brush for glitter placement
Loose glitter can also be used in place of glitter polish. This winter mani can be easily created and worn as both regular and a no chip gel manicure.
